Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu On Sunday, August 25th, 2019, we were honored to host Professor Dane Molina from Golden State BJJ for our first seminar and belt promotion ceremony! Professor Dane focused the seminar around hybrid guards commonly seen in modern BJJ competition, with a particular focus on hybrid spider guards. We greatly appreciate Professor Dane’s thoughtful instruction, and the fact that he left us with so many new techniques to implement in drilling and sparring! Thanks, Professor Dane!
We were also incredibly happy to promote five of our students to the rank of blue belt and one student to the rank of purple belt! Promotions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu do not come easy (with some promotions only occurring after a MINIMUM of two years of training in between!) and these hardworking folks more than earned theirs. We are so incredibly proud of all of their hard work, as well as the hard work of all of our students, and we are honored to have shared this special moment with all of them. Congratulations, folks!
