This past weekend at the NABJJ Los Angeles Jiu-Jitsu Open in Fullerton, California, Coach Savannah took home two gold medals, placing first in both her weight class and the absolute class in the women’s no-gi purple belt division!
Coach Savannah works tirelessly on her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling skills as part of her MMA training, and it was great to see her test her skills against other talented women in Jiu-Jitsu competition. Savannah was awarded her purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu following her impressive MMA win over Choi Jeong Yun at ONE Championship’s “Unbreakable II” just last year, which moved her to 4-1 as a professional MMA athlete. Look for Savannah to return to the MMA cage sometime this year and continue to make waves in women’s mixed martial arts.
