Our team had a great showing at the Grappling X West Coast Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Westlake Village, California, earlier this month, as our competitors secured big wins and came away with multiple podium finishes.
Debuting competitor, Michael Sotona, placed first in his no-gi division and took home a gold medal from his very first competition. Rising competitors, Caleb Alvarado and Brian Zhu, also had excellent showings, with each competitor placing second in their respective no-gi division, earning each of them a silver medal.
Our team would like to congratulate these up-and-coming competitors on their outstanding achievements and thank them for representing our team with the courage and professionalism for which our team is known. We would also like to congratulate all of the great teams who registered for the tournament and thank Grappling X for a day of tough and exciting matches.
