Our Jiu-Jitsu competitors had a great showing last weekend at the NABJJF Los Angeles International Jiu-Jitsu Open in Cerritos, California.
Three of our white belt members competed for the first time, including Thomas Zenteno, Veronica Go-Stevens, and Yulu Cao. We had also two members, Makimo Kam and Jesus Mendoza, competing as blue belts for the first time. In addition, seasoned competitor, Alex Jones, made his return to the competition mat. In total, our competitors brought home two gold medals, six silver medals, and two bronze medals, for a total of ten medals overall.
We are incredibly proud of our team members for testing themselves in Jiu-Jitsu competition and representing our team with courage and professionalism.
