Our team had a great showing at the Grappling X tournament in Pasadena, California, last weekend, as our competitors secured big wins and came away with a total of seven medals!
Standout competitor, Pierre Tobgui, placed first in the combined blue and purple belt men’s no-gi division, adding another gold medal to his list of achievements. Newcomer, Brian Soh, picked up two medals, placing second in the blue and purple belt men’s no-gi division and third in the blue belt men’s gi division. Fellow blue belts, Arthur Van Den Berghe and Stephanie Jones, also took home medals, with both competitors placing third in their respective divisions. Finally, up and coming white belt competitors, Michael Huynh and Caleb Alvarado, placed second in the white belt men’s no-gi division—Michael’s second podium finish in his last two tournaments.
Our team would like to congratulate these outstanding competitors on these great achievements and thank them for representing our team with such courage and professionalism.
